Venturist Den
Participants will be presented with three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from which they must select one to address through an innovative business idea. Working in teams of 2-4, they will develop and pitch their business concepts to a panel of judges, demonstrating their entrepreneurial vision, strategic thinking, and potential for making a positive impact.
Venturist Advert
Teams of 2-4 participants will create captivating advertisements to promote a product or service aligned with one of the SDG goals. They will showcase their creativity, marketing acumen, and ability to engage target audiences by producing a promotional video no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Venturist Sprint
In this dynamic solo round, participants will tackle spontaneous business scenarios, showcasing their quick thinking, adaptability, and persuasive communication skills. Each participant will be assigned a pre-existing business at random on the day of the event. They will then have 5 minutes to prepare and 60 seconds to pitch their ideas to the judges.
Venturist Hackathon
Participants will engage in challenging Python coding tasks and develop software solutions, highlighting their programming expertise, problem-solving abilities, and technical acumen. This category will also assess their mathematical and logical reasoning skills in tackling complex problems.
